Dear Longevity Insider,

Anil Bajnath MD here with your Monday roundup.

My significant other loves my bald head. And so do I. A bald head is easy to maintain. It’s a clean look. It’s a powerful look. It’s my style of choice. But Mother Nature has a way of forcing many men into this suave “look.”

According to the American Hair Loss Association (AHlA), by 50 years of age, about 85% of men are balding. And for a quarter of those who have genetic-related hair loss, they start balding before they’re even out of college (21 years old).

For those who aren’t quite ready to be bald, this news can be a confidence killer. But here’s the latest from researchers at North Carolina State University. According to their research, a microRNA (miRNA) called miR-218-5p could solve the hair loss dilemma.

The team in North Carolina performed a 20-day trial where mice regained 90% of their hair loss.

One of the NCSU researchers, Ke Cheng reflects on this recent study:

“Cell therapy with the 3D cells could be an effective treatment for baldness, but you have to grow, expand, preserve and inject those cells into the area… MiRNAs, on the other hand, can be utilized in small molecule-based drugs. So potentially you could create a cream or lotion that has a similar effect with many fewer problems. Future studies will focus on using just this miRNA to promote hair growth.”

Imagine how this significant study can be used to provide hair regain options for many men (and women!) who want to keep their locks as long as possible. When it comes to longevity, you want to look good and feel good for as long as possible.

So why settle for forced baldness, unwanted weight, lack of energy, and sore joints? You have too much at your fingertips to accept early aging.

That’s why I’m sharing my most prized research with you right now so that you have a say in when and how you age.

To your longevity,
