BREAKING: 20-Year Alzheimer’s Study Finally Leaks!

Over the years, many scientists have studied the connection between nutrition and dementia/Alzheimer’s disease…
But these studies covered just a short period of time.
Recently, scientists at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (USDA HNRCA) at Tufts University just unleashed a nutrition-mind study that has been 20 years in the making.
The epidemiological study included 2,800 people all over the age of 50.
Scientists took a close look at “the long-term relationship between eating foods containing flavonoids and risk of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).”
Flavonoids are naturally occurring substances found in plant-based foods like berries, apples, tea, and wine. Dark chocolate is another crowd-pleasing source for flavonoids.
The research team determined that low intake of three flavonoid types was linked to higher risk of dementia when compared to the highest intake. Specifically:
• Low intake of flavonoids (apples, pears and tea) was associated with twice the risk of developing ADRD.
• Low intake of anthocyanins (blueberries, strawberries, and red wine) was associated with a four-fold risk of developing
• Low intake of flavonoid polymers (apples, pears, and tea) was associated with twice the risk of developing ADRD.
Not only are the folks at Tufts University releasing two-decade-rich studies, but they’re supplying resources, too…
Now, more than ever, medical professionals are stressed out.
With COVID-19 having taken over 80,000 lives in America alone, the grim sights have become unbearable for some doctors and nurses.
